Robinson, by Nin

Celedenio Frejo Abregón, who worked under the pseudonym Nin, was a regular artist for the publishing house Valenciana. He began at this publisher in the early 1950s and he stayed there several decades. Most of his work appeared in the publisher's juvenile magazines Jaimito and Pumby. For this second magazine, he created his most notable character, the little elephant 'Trompy'. Other series include 'El Habitante del Viejo Castillo de Mockery', 'Don Espino el Buen Vecino' and 'El Monin y sus Gangsters'. From the 1960s, he also worked for the Bardon Art agency and he appeared in several European magazines, with among others 'Glup, le Petit-fils du Chat Botté' (French market) and 'Fix und Foxi' (German market, Rolf Kauka). Nin was the brother of comic artist Emilio Frejo.
