Leo & Lola
Thierry Nouveau was born in Tours in 1970. He studied Fine Arts in Rennes, and has since worked as a freelance illustrator for the press (Ouest-France) and children's publishers (Milan, Bayard, Fleurus, Disney). He made his first comics in cooperation with Gégé, including 'Perette la rainette' and 'Camille & Jules' for the magazine Moi je lis. He has worked with author Marc Cantin on the children's book 'Un Poney au Balcon', and on the comic series 'Léo & Lola' (Lombard, since 2006) and 'Ma Mère et moi' (Clair de Lune, since 2011).
Nouveau made the drawings for the children's comic 'Théa Cavalière' by Judith Peignen and Emma Schulz (Vents d'Ouest, 2013), and he made the riddle comic 'Les Énigmes de Léa' with Philippe Larbier for Bamboo in 2014.
