Adolf Oberländer was one of the prime cartoonists, caricaturists and illustrators of the German satirical magazine Fliegende Blätter. Other famous artists for this magazine were Wilhelm Busch and Karl Pommerhanz. Oberländer drew pantomime comics about social issues.
