Hitoshi Okuda is a mangaka best-known for his manga in the 'Tenchi Muyo!' universe. Based on the anime, Okuda's serials include 'No Need for Tenchi!' (1994-2000), 'Tenchi, Heaven Forbid! G...' (a series of yonkoma comics for Pioneer LDC's monthly fan club letter, 1994-2000) and 'The All-New Tenchi Muyô!' (2000-2005). Okuda began his career in doujinshi (manga fan art) before beginning professionally. His other series include 'Detatoko Princess', 'Little Dragon Restaurant', 'Radical Guardian' and 'Ranto Mashoroku'.
