Carla Ostrer is a British cartoonist and the author of the daily comic strip about the modern girl 'Mandy' in The Mirror. The strip debuted in the paper on 6 January 1997 and was presented by the paper as the daughter of Reg Smythe's 'Andy Capp'. The strip was originally drawn by Roger Mahoney and written by Ostrer, but is currently created solely by Ostrer.
