Cristian Păcurariu studied Fine Arts in Cluj and works as a drawing teacher in his hometown Cugir, Transylvania. He presented his work to the French publisher Soleil, who hired him for the art staff of the collective comics trilogy 'Légendes de la Table Ronde' in 2005 and 2006. In 2008 and 2009 he was the sole artist of 'Le Testament des Siècles', a comic diptych by Nicolas Jarry, based on the religious thriller novel by Henri Loevenbruck. In 2008 Păcurariu drew 'Dracula', a comic story scripted by Marian Mirescu. By 2011 he teamed up with Olivier Peru to start the fantasy series 'Assassin' in Soleil's collection Secrets du Vatican.
