Franco Paludetti debuted in the comics field by drawing 'Sciuscià', in cooperation with Ferdinando Tacconi. Starting in 1958, he worked mainly for British and French publishing houses, using the pseudonym Palù. For Lug in France he illustrated series like 'Les Avatars de Pierre', 'Roland Kondor', 'Utopia' and 'X-101'. In 1972, he began a collaboration with Nuova Astorina publishers, where he cooperated on the 'Diabolik' series until 2007. Paludetti was also active in the animation field, working for Gamma Films.
