Vicente Pañella is a Catalan comic artist who began his career in 1957 drawing for Tío Vivo. Among the series he created for this magazine were 'Pañella, el Loco' and 'Raskalana'. In 1963, he switched over to the Barcelona paper Solidaridad Nacional. Under several pseudonyms, he was later working for Tele Cómico. In the 1960s, he created series like 'El Fakir Haga Pito' and 'Pepe Durante, Locutor Volante' in La Risa. Other magazines he contributed to are Barrabás, Doña, El Capitán Trueno Extra, El Pito, La PZ, Lecturas, Mata Ratos, Mortadelo, Pep Cola, Rififi, Strong, TBO and Tele Guía.
