Raoul Paoli was born in the Paris area in 1980s, and is currently based in the South of France. He began his career as an illustrator, and he has been writing and drawing comics since 2003. A self-taught artist, he has participated in several fanzines, such as Delirium Trait Mince Créé and Johan Troïanowski's Boochkoozu, and collective projects, such as '30 Jours de BD'. He made his album debut at Éditions Makaka in 2011 with the fantasy story 'Définition'. For the same publisher, he makes the crime thriller 'Hold-Up' with writer Shuky since 2014.
