'Maricota e Mariquinhas', 1926. 

Eduardo Malta, who uses the pseudonym Papusse, was born in 1900 in Covilha, Portugal. He was one of the first chief editors of the O Século-supplement Pim Pam Pum!, together with writer Augusto de Santa-Rita. Most of Malta's comics are based on scripts by Santa-Rita (Pápim). These two artists were also the first to make a comic album for children: 'O Mundo dos Meus Bonitos' (1920).

He died in 1967.
