Park Ki-dang moved to Japan to study Plastic Arts at Osaka. He returned to Korea afterwards and started out drawing portraits and advertising boards. He began his career in comics in December 1952. From that moment, he produced comics in several genres for several magazines, varying from history ('L'Aigle de la Mer') and science fiction ('Yuseongin Gaus'). Park Ki-dang was a successful comic artist with such titles as 'Manlijong', 'Sonogong' and 'La Falaise des Larmes'.
