Maarten Pathuis had a juridical education and worked for five years in the trade and industry. He started a career as a cartoonist in 1997. Since, he has drawn for several dailies, weeklies, monthlies, companies and organisations. His most famous work is the daily 'Bielzenblues' strip that appeared in Metro, about two men in the train. One album has appeared, called 'Vrienden'. Maarten Pathuis also makes cartoons for magazine Intermediair and the strip 'De Kenners' for Voetbal Magazine.
