Beatrice Penco Sechi is an Italian comic book artist from Cagliari, the capital of the island of Sardinia. A self-taught artist, she calls among her influences director Tim Burton, painter Caravaggio, comic artist Mike Mignola and animator/illustrator Stefano Bessoni. During daytime, she works with horses and participates in equestrian sports, and she draws in the evenings. Her first professional comic book work was 'Lady Doll', a fantasy comic made in cooperation with writer Daniele Vessella and published in Soleil's Blackberry collection between 2010 and 2013. With Maxe L'Hermenier, she made 'Jappeloup', a one-shot comic on equestrian sports, published by Jungle! in 2015.
