Sleepy Sid, by Paul Plaschke

Paul Albert Plaschke was a cartoonist of German origins, known for his contributions to the Evening Post, Louisville Times and Courier-Journal newspapers through the 1920s and to The Herald Examiner in Chicago in the 1930s. Around 1910, he made the newspaper strip 'Sleepy Sid'. Later on, he became known for his impressionist paintings.
