Warren Pleece is a British comic artist, who began his career writing and drawing the self-published comic magazine Velocity with his brother Gary Pleece between 1987 and 1989. The two brothers then moved on to publish their work in Escape magazine. Warren Pleece cooperated with Woodrow Phoenix on 'Sinister Romance', a comic published by Harrier. He illustrated the Garth Ennis-scripted series 'True Faith' in Crisis and contributed the futuristic story 'Second City Blues' to 2000AD. Pleece has worked extensively for DC Comics and its Vertigo imprint in the USA, among others on 'Skin Graft: The Adventures of a Tattooed Man' (script Jerry Prosser), 'Hellblazer' (with Paul Jenkins), 'The Invisibles' (with Grant Morrison), 'Kinetic' (with Kelley Puckett), 'Deadenders' (with Ed Brubaker), 'Incognegro' (with Mat Johnson) and 'Life Sucks' (with Jessica Abel and Gabe Soria).
