Sandy Plunkett has worked in the American comic book field since the mid-1970s. After some appeareances in fanzines like the Comic Art Showcase, he became a regular artist for Gold Key's horror titles 'Boris Karloff Tales of Mystery' and 'The Twilight Zone'. He has done most of his work for Marvel Comics, starting with 'Clea', 'The Defenders' and some filler comics. During the 1980s and 1990s, he worked on several of the company's titles, like 'Black Panther', 'Marvel Universe', 'Savage Sword of Conan', 'Ant-Man', 'Vision and Scarlet Witch' and 'Late for Supper'. He has also worked for DC, drawing for the 1970s titles 'House of Mystery' and 'Unknown Soldier'.
