Peter Pluut made his debut in 1978 with 'Les Domaines de Leyla' at Éditions de la Cerise. In the early 1980s, he appeared in Métal Hurlant as well as Rigolo with 'Victor Vitesse' and 'Richard Crèvecoeur'. Two albums of the latter appearedat Les Humanoïdes Associés in 1984 and 1985. Pluut also published in Spirou and Circus. He released 'Nicky Mono - Le Dieu Cochon' at Albin Michel in 1985. He then teamed up with Denis Lapière to start 'Jerry et Line' at Dargaud in 1988 (two albums).
