Mirco Repetto was born in Genoa, Italy, but moved to Argentina at the age of 10. At 17, he was already working in the editorial offices of the magazines Pololo and Mustafa. He then became a writer and artist for Editorial Quinterno, especially for the magazine Patoruzito.
In 1940 he created the character 'La Vaca Aurora' in the magazine Cara Sucia, and the strip was later continued in Anteojito. In 1947 he created the character 'Vito Nervio', which was drawn by Cortinas and later by Alberto Breccia.
