Pretty Deadly
Emma Ríos is a Galician comic artist who was worked on comics for publishers in both Europe and the USA. Born in Vilagarcía de Arousa, Pontevedra, Spain, she began self-publishing zines and her own comic book series 'APB'. She was then hired by Boom! Studios
Her first major work for Marvel Comics was the 'Dr. Strange' limited series written by Mark Waid. Her artwork had also appeared in such titles as 'Runaways', 'Amazing Spider-Man', and 'Girl Comics'. She worked with scriptwriter Kelly Sue DeConnick on the mini-series 'Osborn', and the fairytale-like western series 'Pretty Deadly', that debuted from Image in October 2013.
