Lunt Roberts is a prolific illustrator who has provided pictures for books by many authors, including Malcolm Saville's 'Mike and Mary' series. Active in the period 1913-1964, his work appeared in Punch, The Humourist and The Daily Mail Annual, among others. He served with the Welsh Fusiliers during World War I and during World War II, he supplied illustrations to the Ministry of Information. As a comic artist, he has drawn 'Robin Hood' in The Knock-Out Comic (1949) and 'Mr Pastry' in TV Comic (1951).
