Angel Rodriguez is a Spanish studio artist who began his career in 1988. He has done art on erotic comics, children's books, commercials and spin-off comic books for Cartoon Network, as well as the German magazine Knax. In 1991 and 1992, he drew 'Mortadelo y Filémon' for Ediciones B.
Rodriguez works for Comicup, a studio that provides artwork to the European Disney publications. He started out in the early 1990s with several covers and stories for the French Le Journal de Mickey, mainly 'Ellsworth' gags scripted by François Corteggiani. He has drawn stories with nearly every Disney character for the Danish publisher Egmont and VNU/Sanoma in The Netherlands.
He illustrated 'Donald Duck', 'Mickey Mouse' and 'Goofy' stories, as well as 'Timon & Pumbaa' gags, 'Lion King' and 'Brother Bear' stories. In the Netherlands he is also often assigned to illustrate posters, covers, sections like 'Mickey Lost 't Op', and stories and games for Donald Duck Junior.
