Nicolás Rodriguez Juele is a comic book artist and illustrator from Montevideo, Uruguay. He has worked as an illustrator for the press and publishing houses since 1990, doing graphic designs, logo designs, storyboards and advertising illustrations. Between 1997 and 2004 Rodriguez also gave courses in comics and caricature art for children and adolescents, and he has taught Visual Communication at the Sistema de Enseñanza Media Publica-Estatal.

He additionally self-published photocopied comic books between 1998 and 2006. His first professional comics work were the two books in the series 'Muxica, el indio Charrúa' in 2007 and 2008. The books dealt with the hardships of a Native American in the 19th century and were colored in earth tones. The first album of the series 'Los Colonos del Rio de la Plata' appeared in 2012. This Franco-Uruguayan co-production with writer Laurent Suiffet about the Savoyan emigration to Uruguay is published in France under the title 'Les colons du Rio de la Plata' by Éditions Derrier. The second installment followed in 2014. A digital re-edition of 'Muxica' was released in 2015.
