Michael Ryba is a German artist, painter, illustrator, cartoonist and art teacher. In the mid-1970s, he drew the 'Schindel-Schwinger' comic series. This humorous comic series about the battle between heaven and hell, was written by Peter Torsten Schulz. Five albums appeared from 1975 to 1977 at Illu Press Edition. Ryba also worked for several satirical magazines, and has done illustrations for jigsaw puzzles.
