Esteban Saldaña Rodriguez was born in Mexico City. After his artistic education at the Uam Azcapotzalco, he began his career as an illustrator at the art department of the magazine Reforma. Later on, while still working for the magazine, he teamed up with fellow artists Héctor Germán, Serafín Allendelagua and Valerio Vega and formed the collective Proyecto Dosis.
