Hany Saleh, graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2000. As a student, he joined an animation studio in 1996, where he had an apprenticeship. He was a key animator in a long animated film ('Waleed Al-masry') and some TVC advertisements. He participated in the Ismailiyah International Fifth Festival for Short Animated Films in Egypt, where he presented a film he directed. He kept working in the animation field until late 2001. Over a short period of time, he worked as an illustrator for an advertising agency. As a comic artist, he published his first comic pages in the Egyptian Aladdin magazine in November, 2002. Then, he contributed to some Arab comic magazines in Egypt and Kuwait (Samir, Toot, Sidra) as well as the Qkids international comic magazine.
