Jordi Sanchis is the son of comic artist Blas Sanchis, who headed the Blai Studios. He took over the studios after his father's death in 1995. He was the main 'Winnie the Pooh' artist for Egmont during the 1980s. He has also illustrated some Disney comics with 'Chip 'n' Dale', 'Donald Duck' and 'Scamp'.
