G.I. Joe vs. Transformers II
Born in Palermo, Emiliano Santalucia did his first professional comics work for Star Comics and Play Press in 1988-89. Afterwards, he attended the Milan School of Comic Art. As a child he was a big fan of the TV series 'Masters of the Universe', and together with his friend Alessio Di Marco he launched a fansite, which featured his artwork.
In 2002, he was asked to illustrate the 'Masters of the Universe' comic books for Image Comics, based on the new relaunched television series. Santalucia has also worked on the 'G.I. Joe' titles 'A Real American Hero' and 'Snake Eyes Declassified' (Devil's Due Publishing) and 'The Transformers: Spotlight' (IDW), also licensed series based on 1980s TV cartoons. He additionally draws the 'Ninja Storm' comic for Power Rangers Magazine.
