Francis Sapin studied to become a graphic artist and in 1994 began his career as a commercial illustrator. He has been a designer and animator on several animation projects by M6, including 'Sonic' and 'Archie's Weird Mysteries'. He wrote and drew the science fiction comic 'Les Citadelles Excentriques' for Soleil in 2004, and has been an artist of humor comics for Éditions Bamboo since 2008.
Sapin has provided scripts and/or art to such series as 'Les Golfeurs' (art, with scripts by Filmore, 2008-09), 'Agence Touristes' (scripts, with art by Fred Delsaux, 2009-10) and 'Sunny Bay' (script and art, since 2012). He also makes the children's series 'Catlyn' for Vents d'Ouest since 2011.
