Angelo Scariolo made his debut in the Il Soldatino studios of Vezio Melegari, where he made illustrations with Hanna-Barbera characters from 1969 to 1976. Working independently, he has illustrated several childrens' books and educational material. For Il Trenino magazine, he drew comics with his own characters, like 'Titta-Rò'. In the early 1980s, he began working for Mondadori publishers. He illustrated the title comic of Poochie magazine, and did illustration work with 'Barbie'. At Fabbri, he illustrated 'Candy Candy' for several educational publications. Scariolo also illustrated some stories with 'Geppo' for Bianconi, as well as numerous 'Tweety and Silvester' stories for Il Giornalino. He joined the Staff di If in 1987, and commenced a production of Disney comics.
