Comic art by Paul Schindeler
Adje, for Vrije Balloen 16 (1978)

Dutch comic artist Paul Schindeler was a contributor to the alternative comic magazines Gummi and De Vrije Balloen from the second half of the 1970s. He later worked with Theo van den Boogaard and Wim T. Schippers on the early 'Sjef van Oekel' comics. He worked on several commercial assignments with former Espee colleague Rudolf Kahl in the 1980s. In his memoire 'Een kwestie van jeuk', Kahl describes Schindeler as someone with savant syndrome, with a photographic memory. The artist has passed away in 2002.
