Peter Schrijnders is a writer, photographer and musician from Amsterdam. In the early 1970s, he made comic strips like 'Karel Kroost' (1972-1974), 'Herreman' (1974) and 'Germanus' (1974) for the local papers Noord Amsterdammer and the Noordhollandse Courant. As a photograher, he has made pictures of local corner stores and storekeepers from Amsterdam for Het Parool. He gives lectures about the history and dialect of the Jordaan area and is also involved in the Jordaan Museum.
