Tanguy & Laverdure, by Patrice Serres

Patrice Serres made his debut in France-Soir with 'La route de Corinthe' and 'Max le Menteur'. Next, he moved to the USA, where he assisted Frank Robbins on 'Johnny Hazard'. He returned to France in 1967. After several short stories in Pilote and Formule 1, Serres started the aviation series 'Yves Sainclair' with Claude Moliterni in Phénix. After the death of Jijé, Patrice Serres took over the artwork of 'Tanguy et Laverdure'. At the same time, he became a television producer and head of the magazine Hara-Kiri. In the nineties, Serres made 'Kim Wolf' for Dargaud and 'Les Fourmis' in l'Écho des Savanes.
