Self-taught comic artist Andy Seto collaborated on several commercial series with traditional Chinese stories since 1983. In 1990, he joined the Freeman label, where he took on drawing manga. Originally inspired by 'Venus War' creator Yasuhiko Yoshikazu, Andy Seto soon found his own personal style. In 1993, he started his main series, 'Cyber Weapon Z', with writer Chris Lau. This science fiction comic, about a group of young people doing martial arts, was adapted into an animation series in 1993.
