Star Trek by The Sharp Brothers
Star Trek: The Next Generation/Doctor Who: Assimilation

The brothers Joe and Rob Sharp are comic book artists, illustrators and designers, who work together for the international market through their Sharp Brothers Studio. Both started their careers in animation; Joe at Yoram Gross/Forest Interactive and Rob at Walt Disney Animation Australia. They started their collaboration at Disney as animators, lay-out artists and designers on projects such as 'Aladdin' 2 and 3, 'The Lion King 2', 'The Goofy Movie' and 'Gargoyles'.

They have been focusing on comics and illustrations after forming their studio. Among their credits are 'Warhammer 40,000' for Games Workshop, 'Big Bang' and 'ShadowHawk' for Image Comics and 'Dungeons and Dragons' campaign books. From May 1996, The Sharp Brothers were working with writer Jim Callahan and WWF's Jim "Warrior" Hellwig, featuring Warrior himself as the main character. They created the 'King of the Ring' strip, that is also about wrestling, for The Beano in Britain in 2015, and they have worked on several of IDW's 'Star Trek' titles.

The Brothers have also worked on toy designs for Peter Fish Toys, character and concept designs for the games industry, and visuals and animatics for advertising agencies in Australia. Among their advertising work are also comics on commission for companies like ANZ and St. Kilda Venues.
