'Capa, L' Étoile Filante', biopic about photographer Robert Capa.
Florent Silloray studied Fine Arts in Nantes. In the late 1990s, he headed for the Antipodes Islands, where he lived with the Kanak tribe of Lifou. He published an account of this stay in a book in 2004, published by Éditions Sarbacane. His next books were 'Tout Froissé' in 2006 and ecological fable 'Yancuic le Valeureux' in 2007. He is now based in La Rochelle, where he mainly works as an illustrator of children's books for publishers like Gallimard, Milan and Sarbacane. 'Le Carnet de Roger' (Sarbacane, 2013) was his first comic book, and dealt with his grandfather's experiences as a prisoner in Germany during World War II. It was followed by the biopic 'Capa, L' Étoile Filante', about war reporter Robert Capa, at Casterman in 2016.
