Born in Poznan, Jacek Skrzydlewski settled in Warsaw in 1964. He made his comics debut with the story 'Strach' in the magazine Relax in 1977. He then began a collaboration with Swiat Mlodych, starting with 'Super-Man' in 1979. He was also present in KOMIKS magazine.
His longer serials include 'Wyprawa na Ziemie' (1988), 'Kosmiczny Detektyw' (1989) and 'Nowe Przygody mistrza Twardowskiego' (1990), all published in albums by KAW. Starting in 1988, he created the saga 'Planeta Robotów', 'Inwazja z Planety Robotów' and 'Pozegnanie z Planeta Robotów' with writer Maciej Parowski.
He became a regular artist for Bazar in 1988 and in that same year he co-founded the monthly Ja-Ty-My. In 1992 he was also present in the West German magazine Bunte. He has lived in Hawaii since 1991.
