David Snug is a Paris-based comic book artist and musician, and the pen name of Guillaume Cardin. He broke off his art studies and went to work in a factory to earn a living. He used his spare time for drawing, and contributed comic stories to fanzines like La Naissance du Rebessin, Sonar and Playcat. He has also published comics on his blog, mostly stories about the alternative scene, dealing with themes like indie rock, metalheads, vegans, tattoos, street art and DIY concerts.
J'aime pas la musique
Les Enfants Rouges has published several books with his work, such as 'Je suis très déçue par ton attitude' (2008), 'Y'a que les fourmis qui bossent' (2010), '64 ans en 2039' (2011), 'J'aime pas la musique' (2011) and 'La Maison n'accepte pas l'échec' (2014). La vie est trop Kurt', his autobiographical book about his arrival in Paris was published by Même Pas Mal in 2016. David Snug further plays guitar and guitalele in the groups Top montagne, Snugtrio and Quetzalli, and runs his own label Les Diks Qui Sautent.
