Comic art by Hajime Sorayama.

The son of a carpenter, Hajime Sorayama graduated at the Chuo Art School in Tokyo in 1969. He applied himself to illustrations for an advertising agency. Later, in 1971, he started as a freelance illustrator. His style is realistic, and he is the master of airbrush techniques. The themes in his work are sexy females, and sexy female robots. Some of these robot illustrations have been featured in the 1994 action movie 'Timecop', based on Mark Verheiden and Ron Randall's comic story of the same name. Sorayama also designed covers for Go Nagai's manga series 'Cutey Honey 90' . He co-scripted the anime film 'The Humanoid' (1986) and made conceptual designs for the film 'Spawn' (1997), based on Todd McFarlane's 'Spawn'.
