Jack Staller was born in 1942 in Leiden. He is a successful designer, comic artist, painter and writer, who has had an impressive career in advertising. Apart from a number of awarded advertising campaigns for some big companies, several film posters and political cartoons, Jack Staller created the comic series 'The Black Hawk Line' and 'De Vliegende Hollander'. In the mid-1980s he also made the comic 'Dafne' for Tina, from scripts by Frits van der Heide. With Van der Heide, he also made the science fiction comic 'De Tiende Planeet' in Eppo Wordt Vervolgd. He also wrote and drew 'Dakota Dolly' for Sjors en Sjimmie Stripblad. As an illustrator, he is specialized in historical subjects.

Under his real name and his pseudonym, he also made erotic comics for the 'Rooie Oortjes' gag series. They appeared in issues 1-3 of their short-lived magazine 'Nou! Nou!', the 'Rooie Oortjes' Cartoon Album spin-off series and volume 3 and 4 of their 'Erotische Verhalen' ('Erotic Tales') spin-off series.
