La Danse du Quetzal
Born in Lille, Michaël Sterckeman grew up in the North of France and studied at the École Supérieure de l'Image in Angoulême. He has published several comic books, starting with 'Petit Manège' at Ego Comme X in 2000. He then made 'Le Chant des Oiseaux' (Atrabile, 2002), 'Intersections' (Atrabile, 2006), 'Le Prince aux Plumes' (Milan, 2006) and 'La Danse du Quetzal' (Sarbacane, 2008), and contributed to the Atrabile anthology 'Bile Noire' (2007).
Sauvages (Spirou, 2008)
In 2008, he is present in Spirou with the animal series 'Sauvages'. In 2011 and 2012 he made the graphic novel diptych 'Cent mille journées de prières' with Loo Hui Phang for Futuropolis. He then worked with Gwen De Bonneval for 'Adam et Elle', that is published in Glénat's 1000 Feuilles collection in 2013.
