Clayton Strohmeyer started his comics career in 1985 when he was hired by Suburban News Publication to draw editorial cartoons. He moved to Columbus in 1997 and became commercial animator for Mike Jones Film. When Mike Jones Film closed its door, Strohmeyer created the newspaper strip 'Mr. Housewife', about a stay-at-home husband. Creators Syndicate launched 'Mr. Housewife' in November 2002. Clayton Strohmeyer lives in Columbus, with his wife and child, and he still draws editorial cartooons for Suburban News Publication.
