Jacques Taillefer was an artist for the French daily press during the 1960s. In France Soir, he illustrated episodes of 'Le Crime ne Paie Pas' and 'Les Amours Célèbres', that were created, written and documented by Paul Gordeaux. In 1969, he began a weekly 'Fantômas' color page, scripted by Agnès Guilloteau and published in Jours de France.
