Tony Takezaki graduated from the Osaka design school, and began his career drawing doujinshi (fan manga) based on Sonoda's work. He was then assigned to do a manga serial based on the anime series 'Ad Police'. Takezaki also contributed to volume 2 of the Ariel manga anthologies.
