'Dag In, Dag Uit'.
Marc Terstroet is a Dutch freelance illustrator from Amsterdam. He was educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague (Graphic Design, 1965-1969) and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam (Visual Communication, 1970-1973). He has made drawings for Trouw, NRC Handelsblad, De Groene Amsterdammer, PTT Post, Hollandse Hoogte, Slagwerkgroep, and Quote.
Terstroet made an abstract comic strip that was published on a weekly basis in the Dag In Dag Uit section of De Volkskrant throughout most of the 1980s. Several collections of his work were publihsed, and he designed stage sets for the Maarten Altena Ensemble. He is a teacher with the Willem de Kooning Art Academy in Rotterdam.
Terstroet paid homage to Marten Toonder in the tribute book 'Was Tom Poes Maar Hier - Een Hommage aan Marten Toonder' (De Bezige Bij, 2006).
