'Adamson's Adventures'.
Henry Thol studied art at the Cooper Union Institute and later became cartoonist in The New York World. His work was syndicated by Bell Newspaper and Conssolidated News Features. He was the artist of a parallel, USA version of the Swedish silent strip 'Adamson's Adventures', created by Oscar Jacobsson. Thol's version appeared from 1935 to 1940. Subsequently, in 1941, Jeff Hayes began his version of the strip, called 'Silent Sam'. He died in 1944 in Brooklyn, at age 48, and was survived by his mother.
