For his next book, he picked Spain as a setting for his story. 'Näkymättömät kädet' ('Invisible Hands', 2011) tells the story of Rashid, a Moroccan who arrives in Spain without any documentation. The book has a heavy subject matter, dealing with low pay and poor working conditions foreign workers have to deal with, and took Tietäväinen several years to complete. Ville Tietäväinen's work has been exhibited on several occasions.
