'De Bende van de Hertog'.
The Flemish artist Henri Taymans was born in 1925 in Etterbeek. He began his career working as a decorator at the supermarket GB in Antwerp. While still working there, he took the pseudonym Timme and made the comic album 'De Avonturen van Wim Rits en Jan Blok: De Bende van de Hertog' (1959), with text by Albert van Nerum. He was also active as a seascape painter. Taymans passed away in Antwerp on 19 July 2011.
