Tom Tirabosco was born in Rome and followed art studies in Venice and Genève. He was among the winners of the Nouveaux Talents contest of the festival of Sierre in 1992. In 1997 he created the comic 'L'Émissaire' at the Swiss publisher Papier Gras. He also created some juvenile albums for another Swiss publishers, La Joie de Lire. His work has appeared in varying magazines, like Lapin, Libération, Jade, La Tribune de Genève, etc. He also created new albums, such as 'Cabinet de Curiosités' at Atrabile publishers and 'Le Colporteur' at Delcourt. Along with his friend and scenarist Pierre Wazem, he created 'Week-end avec Préméditation' in the Tohu-Bohu collection of Les Humanoïdes Associés.
