'Barbapapa'.
Annette Tison was the co-creator of 'Barbapapa', the children's book series that became popular during the 1970s. She studied architecture in Paris, where she met her husband Talus Taylor, a biology and math teacher from San Francisco, USA. Together, they created the 'Barbapapa' book series, which took off in 1970. A series of comic books followed. Between 1974-1975 and again in 1977, a television series was broadcast, providing a whole generation with fond memories of the colorful Barbapapa family. Annette Tison passed away in 2010, while Talus Taylor died in 2015.
