Dan Perkins, better known as Tom Tomorrow, is the creator of the weekly comic strip 'This Modern World', which started appearing in alternative newspapers like SF Weekly in 1990. In 1998, this strip won him the Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for Cartooning. The strip appears in about 150 papers across the USA and on a variety of websites.
On 16 June 2012, Tomorrow was one of several cartoonists paying tribute to Matt Groening's 'Life in Hell', after its final episode appeared in print.
